Financial Literacy Articles

There is a huge volume of great articles on the web that help people of all ages learn about making better financial decisions. I will periodically try to grab the best of the ones I come across and share them in a summary on our blog. If you have articles you would like to share, by all means, email me or post them in the comments to these blog articles.

Financial Literacy Events

We just had our second session as part of our series on Financial Literacy with the Milford Public Schools. The attendance was awesome, and the interaction with the kids was superb. You can get a copy of the all our presentation on our financial literacy resources page.

The next financial literacy session is scheduled for January 14, 2016 and will cover the basics of saving and investing. Click the image above to register and do feel free to share it with the folks you know.

Financial Literacy Resources

finanial_literacy_savings_by_cutting_back_lunch_expense.pngI come across some really useful resources and interactive tools that help folks manage their finances better. This week I saw a great calculator to help folks learn how to spend less at lunch to save more down the road.

Click on the image to the left to visit the page over at the 306 Degrees of Financial Literacy.

Here is a nice summary of places where military personnel can turn to get help with their finances.

I came across this infographic on Money Secrets I thought was a pretty good summary of a comprehensive list of financial concerns.
